worst experience with firfox add on............ its lagging too much .............

Rubbish on Firefox!!! I've signed in (and can go to the Grammarly page and it recognises I'm signed in), but I can't use the add on as it doesn't believe I've already signed in. Totally pants.

Premium user (paid) here and I the Grammarly Add-on for firefox isn't working. It won't sign in; it takes me to my Grammarly apps/notes page but the plugin itself won't work. Removing and re-installing didn't help.

You need an account, I have no idea why.

It never seems to work!

Grammarly for firefox has been installed. It says it is active, and that it will work wherever I am typing on the web. But it does not work when I type in the editor of my website (www.inkribbonpaper.uk). What could be wrong? Please advise

It refuses to work with Google Docs. Every time I reinstall it says to signup. When I hit that it brings me to my Grammarly, but says it still isn't signed in at all. Plus the editing it does can be really stupid and change a sentence that doesn't need to be changed at all. Yea great app guys, it sucks. The minute it's actually good for something then let me know instead of spamming me ads on YouTube.

Grammarly is active, but
key features are missing

Grammarly used to be great. Not perfect but great. Twice I changed my review here to reflect the fact that Grammarly's devs were dedicated to listening and improving their work based on feedback.

But as of today, 29 July 2024, Grammarly is utterly useless. It doesn't find spelling or grammatical mistakes but insists on offering useless "premium" tips. For instance, it hates the word "mistake" and insists that I must always write "mistakes" all the time, regardless of the context.

Garbag dosnt work with firefox dosent highlight spelling errors only the built in firefox one works but is useless unless you have a slight type-o

Have to log on FB or Google to use it ? lol no way.

When i type something in facebook an annoying logo places itself on my text. I can't even read the words beneath it.

This plugin makes pages take 4 times longer to load and the browser freezes for a few seconds during the page load. It also slows typing as it seems to recheck your grammar for every character you type. Some optimization could make this usable.

It mondatory shows you advertisments even if you delete this trash!
Be careful!

Activated for all websites by default. You can exclude website one by one.
So, If you don't want Grammarly injected on every page/site and all your typing sent.
There's no option to deactivate by default and activate for only a few websites.
Probably no GRPD compliant.
