This is a wonderful app. Using the app is easy to use and is a wonderful tool. When browsing my email or commenting on posts, Grammarly gives suggestions to using proper grammar and catches my bad spelling errors. Now, I write messages, knowing that I sound great!

I don't mind admiting that, spelling was never my best subject at school, having Grammarly for Firefox, has helped me more in the last 6 months with grammer, spelling, and English, than ever before. It's like a friend holding your hand, I would be lost without it now. :)

I am perfectly satisfied with this add-on since I am using it actively for three months. So far, I have not recognized any disadvantages. I like weekly reports followed by the tips. Tips are raising my language skills to a higher level.

I find that this add on keeps me on top of my game. Very helpful in many areas of my work thank you.

It is helpful sometimes, but many times it is annoying. You cannot get a good answer or it is suggesting things incorrectly. There is no way to add to the dictionary if it "thinks" you are wrong. Any terminology outside of an 8th grade education level is not understood.

The biggest deal is on some form-fill-in sites using the later HTML5 code, parts of the form disappear. I just went back to the old spell checker.

I may check it out again in a couple of years. I would NOT pay for a subscription. The beta is not ready for charging any money. There is No Way I would pay. This add-on is very buggy.

Great for checking grammar

I've tried others but for me Grammarly is the best writing help available. I recommend it to everyone. The free version is fantastic.

I think Grammarly is great even though I only use the basic one as I am a Pensioner & would love to do more, Unfortunatly that is beyond my reach but please do keep up the good work as Grammarly is an EXCELLENT PROGRAM so thank you for allowing me to use it, Kindest Regards Henry.

If you are interested in concise and standard English usage whenever you write comments or other prose online, you should get Grammarly; it checks your grammar and spelling and it's free! You will even receive a weekly email with a report about your errors, and how you stack up against other writers in vocabulary and writing skills.

Being retired, and not writing professional papers anymore, I had gotten sloppy with many things. Grammarly helped me to regain my rigor. I have always been proud of my style, which included good grammar, and now I have an add-on looking over my shoulder to help me keep up that of which I was so proud.

Now the definitions and synonyms on double click feature is working correctly.

I believe that Grammarly will have its quality leveled by the public it is aimed to: 1. English as the native language and 2. As a second language. In this last case, the automatic corrections on every site is a little disagreable because users are forced to turn Grammarly off most of the time. (Funny, Grammarly did not appear to correct this comment!!!)

I wish it supported more languages...

I wish it would be capable enough to analyze complicated sentence structures and compound sentences, such as those including inversion, subjunctive mood, and mixed-type if-clauses (unreal conditionals, especially past - future and present-past types).

I love this program, particularly how it connects to almost every program or page in my browser. I have a big vocabulary & in addition to helping avoid mistakes, basically it keeps me on my toes at the same time!

Love Grammarly! Helps with both spelling and grammar - suggestions and explanations are very helpful. I use it for all applications.

How is that spelled? Do I need a comma here? Grammarly tells you the answer in the nicest way. It's as though your 9th grade English teacher is standing over your shoulder helping with your grammar...but in a nice way.

Definitely helped in avoiding basic mistakes during internet chat and mail sessions. Also helps in drafting professional articles in wordpress.

It has helped me overcome simple grammar mistakes I often used to commit. I suggest you add few features from the paid versions.
