HMDIA Note 1.0.12 – Reviewer Information

COMPATIBILITY

Firefox desktop 140 or later is supported. Firefox for Android is not supported.

ACCESS

No account, login, license, or payment is required to test the local note-taking features.

To test Premium functionality, please use this temporary reviewer license:

No username or password is required for license activation.

CORE TESTING

  1. Click the HMDIA Note toolbar button.
  2. Create and save a Global note.
  3. Open the Domain and Page tabs and create notes for the current website and URL.
  4. Test rich-text formatting, checklists, links, and custom text colors.
  5. Enable a reminder, select a date, time, and repeat option, and save the note.
  6. Open Settings and test Popup, Movable window, and Sidebar under “Open extension in.”
  7. Test local import and export under “Import and export.”

PREMIUM TESTING
  1. Open Settings → Premium license.
  2. Enter the temporary reviewer license and select “Activate license.”
  3. Test colored tags, tag filtering, and Premium appearance options.
  4. To test Google Drive sync, select “Connect Google Drive,” review the disclosure, use a reviewer-controlled Google account, and create a synchronization encryption password.

Google Drive synchronization uses the drive.appdata permission. The add-on can access only its own hidden application-data files, not regular Google Drive files. Notes are encrypted in the browser before upload.

SCREEN COLOR PICKER

The screen color picker is activated only through a user action. Firefox may request temporary access to the current website when the fallback picker needs it.

NETWORK ACCESS
  • hmdia.com is contacted only for Premium license activation, validation, or deactivation.
  • Google OAuth and Google Drive APIs are contacted only after the user chooses to connect Google Drive.
  • Note content and Google Drive synchronization data are not sent through HMDIA servers.

SOURCE CODE

The submitted package contains readable, unminified first-party HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It does not use obfuscation, eval, remote executable code, or included third-party libraries. There is no compilation, transpilation, bundling, or separate build process.
