This extension steals money from sellers by inserting itself as the referral to every purchase you make. If you got referred by another source (e.g. a YouTuber you like; or a friend of yours), Honey will replace the real referral with themselves, effectively stealing the commission from your friend / YouTuber / etc.

Aside from that, in my experience, Honey has never, ever found a discount for any product I've purchased; although it has worked sometimes for some people.

turns out honey is a scam. they change the creator codes at checkout so that they keep all profits instead of their partners getting their cut, amongst other things; look it up.

Is a scam that deceives consumers and steal commissions from content creators.

Known scam, stay away from it.

Do not use. Purposely steals affiliate commission from creators by secretly changing the affiliate link cookie in the background and thus redirecting the money earned to themselves instead of the original affiliate.

It is a scam!!
