Turns out honey poaches commissions from content creators, doesn't actually look through all coupon codes, and even have managed to steal money from businesses by using codes they shouldn't have access to.

Honey acts as a middleman between the websites and the users which overrides all affiliate links and colludes with the business to dampen the available coupon codes from the database. They're taking both pieces of pie and stealing money from people who actually do the work to make a sale.

Scam, it steals money from affiliates and also partners up with stores to hide the best discount codes from you.
