Not only are they true, you cannot scan for coupons without logging in, AND they still hijack the links even if you're not signed in!

watch Megalag's exposé on youtube. Honey is an outright scam. It doesn't get you the best coupon codes. it withholds the best coupons. Search your own coupon codes instead. Do not use Honey!

Whenever I tried buying something it would force it's tracking links onto my purchase and remove the coupons I wanted, and whenever I tried supporting a creator/advertiser they would add their affiliate link and remove the one I currently had

Doesn't do what it claims it does, as sellers that partner with honey can blacklist codes so that honey doesn't apply them for users, despite the codes still working. That's on top of the sales hijacking, which doesn't impact me, but still isn't a practice I wish to be any part of.
