- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch ARCH-USER, 4 jierren lynI happy that you made some money after so many years working on this extension, but Avast has a long history of not respecting their user's privacy, including on extensions. As useful this is to me, I'm forced to stop using it.
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch lol96, 4 jierren lynAnother example of money and profits over users.... cannot wait to see how much money avast made from this extension by selling our data

- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Vincent, 4 jierren lynAlas, Avast.
In an acquisition context, even the most bland corporate PR statements will mention future privacy policy. The complete lack of any mention of data privacy in the developer's acquisition statement speaks volumes. - Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Solipsist, 4 jierren lynsold to Avast. a data harvesting company. immediately removed and spreading the word for others to do so. a shame...
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch ʟ·ɪɴᴀᴅᴀᴩᴛé, 4 jierren lynseptember 2022:
'I don't care about cookies' has been acquired by avast.
No way. - Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Soda, 4 jierren lyn
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Alex, 4 jierren lynAvast sells your data for millions of dollars, stay away.

- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 13651036, 4 jierren lynThe extension redirected me to a promotional page advertising Avast Antivirus.
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch quassy, 4 jierren lynThis extension can not be trusted anymore as it has been acquired by Avast, which has collected and sold customer data before (look up Avast Jumpshot).

- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch pIerSuRa, 4 jierren lynWas a great extension, but the dev sold to Avast. Uninstalled.
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch NeveHanter, 4 jierren lynI request the author to publicly share the full source code of the latest GPLv3 available version of the extension after project's Avast acquisition information that was published today.
Thanks for working on the extension for the past years, but please de-list this extension and list it again under Avast branding so all the users know what they sign up to and don't share the user-base with the acquiring company. - Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 14240917, 4 jierren lynJust received a pop-up tab saying "I sold out to Avast", wtf? Remove this extension ASAP
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch thornjad, 4 jierren lynRecently acquired by Avast. I just wanted an extension to get rid of cookie banners, not spyware for a scammy company. My experience has been fine so far, but I can no longer recommend this extension.
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch TT, 4 jierren lynOpening a new tab out of nowhere because you want to announce some update is a NOGO! Also Avast as a partner is questionable, because they have a history of installing adware without permission on your device. Removing this addon now. But still thanks for all years.
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch smeggysmeg, 4 jierren lynSold out to Avast, a shareware/upsell AV company. Expect tracking behavior, advertising, etc in the near future.
