would be great if it worked properly when it comes to mass downloading of original images from the Your activity page. it only offers the small squares from that page

the image downloader is good however the problem is that whenever i try to download an image it hardly works at all, no matter what type of image i tried to put it on, it just does nothing, so hopefully right after i send the review they'll fix that problem and make it better

The extension used to work really well. The newer updates added some potentially useful improvements, but most of the time it doesn't download for anything me even though it is finding the images.

Alternatives that currently work for me are Download All Images, Image Picka and Image Max URL, but it some situations Imageye was the best tool for the job (it depends greatly on the site and what images you wish to obtain). I hope the problem gets remedied. I am trying a fresh installation of the extension now. So currently 3 stars.

after update extension stopped working. had to downgrade back to use it again. worst update ever.

With the most recent update this went from an indispensable tool to completely useless. What a shame. Hopefully they restore its original full functionality.

Can not save to sub folders. Any attempt at creating a 'folderA/folderB' will create a single folder named folderA_folderB.
Download settings are in a drop down. Need an option to have it always visible.
Search type/size does not get remembered between each time opening the menu.

After the last update, it doesn't find any useful image, it scans like 80 and shows 4, so it lose all its purpose.

After the update there is a constant green/blue dot on the extensions icon, and it's for this extension. I can't find any options to disable this. It is super distracting. Because of this, I have to disable this extension and will find something else.

Last version make it trashed extension.

The update after 5 years is useless to me. I only want my downloaded images to be in the Downloads folder and not in dozens of folders. With so many folders in the Downloads folder, I simply lose track of everything. For this reason, I uninstalled the extension and reinstalled the previous version 1.5.3. because this version works the way I need it to. The previous version can be found further down by clicking on “Show all versions.” Download the corresponding XPI file and install it via “Install extension from file.” After installation, simply disable automatic updates for the specific extension.

Update to 5.10.0 made the extension not working on 115.28.0esr (Win 8.1 64 bits), making the tab crash (and only display 4 pictures of the extension ?)

Hats off to the developers for extending the beloved Imageye extension to Firefox—about time!

I adore this extension on Chrome, but I just installed Imageye on Firefox, only to realise the Firefox version has not been updated in five years!! For that reason alone, I must give a one-star rating and uninstall it. If the Firefox extension is updated once again, please let me know, and I will re-rate it accordingly.

I honestly don't know why any image saver extension is rated higher than this, or why this one has so few users. People need to get the word out! I'm certainly telling my friends. This is ACTUALLY the extension you are probably looking for. Other ext's have terrible UI's, don't show you previews of what will be downloaded, and often download everything into a zip file (probably because they attempt to download every image, icon, etc at once). They also have ridiculous "required" permissions that are highly suspicious and don't seem necessary. This ext has only one permission needed, shows you a preview with the resolution details, allows to to pick just that one if you want, and downloads the actual file instead of zipping it. Like I said, this is most likely what you are searching for!

It is good, but last update 4 years ago???? Chrome's version was last updated yesterday (13 may 2025)
Is Firefox a joke to you? We want new updates too

Unlike other similar add-ons, it detects all images quickly and you can even open them in a new tab independently [which I recommend more than using the download button]. I find it useful for downloading "hidden" images that I can only open using the site code "inspector". Thank you! :)
