Reels Downloader processes Instagram page information locally in the user's browser to identify downloadable media. The extension does not collect, sell, transmit, or store personal information, browsing history, Instagram credentials, or downloaded media on our servers.

The extension runs only on instagram.com. Requests required to identify and download media are sent directly to Instagram using the user's existing browser session. Optional popup links open reelsdownloader.tools; use of that website is governed by the privacy policy published there.

Downloaded files remain on the user's device. Users are responsible for downloading only content they own or have permission to save.
