No personal data is collected:
- The extension only fetches public match data via GET requests
- No user identifiers are sent
- The "storage" permission saves user preferences locally (favorite team, notification settings)
About the manifest:
- background.service_worker is for Chrome MV3
- background.scripts is the Firefox-compatible fallback (same file)
Build instructions:
1. Extract sources zip
2. cd world-cup-2026/
3. npm install (uses pnpm workspaces — @jade/shared-lib and @jade/shared-ui are local packages)
4. npm run build
5. dist/manifest.json needs background.scripts manually added (same file as service_worker)
