Thank you for the report. Can you please be more clear in order to be able to understand the issue and help you? What do you mean by saying "the extension stops" and that you have to "go to the extension to make it on to this page"?

    The description still incorrectly says that it blocks the video instead of only hiding it under the features section. I assume you missed that

    Thank you for the review. In the features section I mention "Hides the video on YouTube and blocks the video, playing only the audio on YouTube Music". That's totally correct. The video is hidden on YouTube but on YouTube Music is blocked. I would really appreciate it if you could update your review.

    Балл снижаю за отсутствие обложки и превью для видео. Невозможно ориентироваться, если нет нормальной подписи. Поставил бы оценку 4, но нет русского языка. Так что только 2 балла. Лучше поставить что-нибудь получше.

    One of the main purposes of the extension is to hide thumbnails. So this is expected behavior, not a bug. If you prefer to see thumbnails, you can disable this option in the settings and they will appear normally.

    Very nice add-on, but I really wish it didn't reset all the settings every time it updates.

    Edit: This has been fixed, so I am bumping the score from 4 to 5.

    Edit: The issue has been fixed in the latest version of the extension.

    Can you please confirm that you have installed the latest version of the extension and Firefox? The previous version had a change that would fix this issue. Additionally, when you say "resets all settings" do you mean the settings in the Options page? Can you please send me an email with more details to try to fix this problem? I would really appreciate it!

    as per aug 28th 2025 it works as intended on windows 10. there's a catch tho, every time you restart firefox windows you have to "forget site" youtube then relogin. other than that it works as advertised

    I checked the extension in Firefox and this issue didn't occur. Please check if there is a conflict with another extension that causes this issue.

    Hey please make it possible to activate this App on one TaB and from that point on to have deactivated in all new tabs. Atm I have to deactivate for each new Tab which is Quite annoying.

    Thank you for the review! You can do that very easily. You can de-activate the extension for all the tabs (either from the Options page or the popup) and then you activate the extension only in one tab (using the option Current tab in the popup).

    3 stars until I test it on normal videos and then on live videos tonight to see exactly how much bandwidth is saved. After installation, I do see YouTube showing the video and the ads are blocked. If the app limits 1 hour of YouTube streaming data to 200mb or lower I will change this to 5 stars. Edit: It's under 200mb but when I got back home and my phone automatically switched to WiFi it froze up YouTube and I had to restart the phone entirely to get YouTube to work again with the extension.

    Thanks for the review and for reporting the issue! I appreciate your feedback. That said, I don’t believe the extension is responsible for the YouTube freeze when switching to WiFi. Still, I’ll keep an eye on it just in case.

    it really save the cpu resource, but do not save bandwidth, if internet is slow the music still buffers, i monitored with task manager

    Please add next song button on notification, so YouTube music can play next song on background. I'm using Xiaomi redmi 3 turbo

    Thanks for the suggestion! Unfortunately, it's not technically possible to add a 'next song' button in the notification through a Firefox extension. It's something that we cannot control and it depends on Firefox. Even if the extension is disabled, Firefox does not have a next/previous song button in the notification.
