EVERY OTHER FUNCTION HAS A KEYBOARD TOGGLE, WHY DIDN'T THEY ADD ONE FOR THE PENCIL TOOL??? IT MAKES NO SENSE. Anyway, it was annoying so I did it myself. Enjoy! If you want any other features, too bad because I have no idea how to code anything more complex than this. It's 6 lines of code so don't worry about it stealing your data or any other funny business.
Actively developed because I do the crossword every day and I like the pencil tool. So if something breaks I'll fix it pretty fast.
