Would love to try your interesting application, however I don't believe you need more than access to URL. Would you be able to let us know why my password/login data is required? Thanks very much for your time

Hello, your username and password it is only required if you try to sync the notes between multiple computers/OS/browsers. For example you can create a sticky on firefox at home, then go to work and find the same sticky on your chrome browser on a mac. If you do not register it won't be possible to sync the two computers.
If you do not need the sync simply disregard the note and you will be able to use OurStickys without any problems.

The login is also necessary if you have a software that might clear your cache and background activity once in awhile. Being logged in will re-download the stickys that you have saved (backed-up) and restore them at the first login or page load.

Please be aware that OurStickys does NOT store any of the personal information, the login it is only used to gather your email address and associated it to your account, everything else that might be sent from the 3rd parties is disregarded.

    20240702: Export/Import still doesn't work for now. So, there's no way of making backup for notes locally or online. Must be done manually.

    20240627: Still the best Sticky Note for Firefox. Wish there's a way to choose where to store sticky notes contents, either locally or online.

    20240620: I've removed this add-on before. The original author have passed away. Used the one "yoasif" released.
    Stumbled on this add-on again, and it says "Last updated 2 months ago (26 Apr 2024)". I'll give this add-on another try.

    It does it's job VERY well, it would be the PERFECT notes-per-website addon.
    But unfortunately many websites with "complex" content don't load properly, anymore. Hence, the addon is not usable for me.
    5 stars if this would be fixed.

    Very good, quite a few options. One issue I'm having is that I cannot do non-linear note editing. Eg) I cannot move the text cursor to the top or middle of a note. I have to backspace from the end of the note. A workaround is copying and pasting into notepad. Hope it's a bug. Thanks.

    I liked these features most:
    1) the ability to stick a note while page is being scrolled
    2) can change default settings for notes
    3) notes are persisted and can be viewed in a single place

    Kindly ask the developer to add the option of grouping notes by tag, domain and date.

    my quick fix:
    add this Userstyle for all websites, to restore the selectability of note contents:

    .__myNoteMainWrapper * {
    user-select:text !important;
    }
    (for example with the stylus addon; you could change it directly in the notes.css of the addon, but I don't know how, it would be great someone would takte this addon in capable hands).

    There is no better addon for this task, tried them all.
