Super Dooper product. One of the BEST!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. I installed this to block pop-ups and instead "MY quick converter" has taken over my computer! Now I have to figure out how to uninstall all this crap. I thought this would be a trustworthy Firefox add-on. It is NOT!

This addon is a god-send. Websites have become a uncontrollable arena that doesn't allow the user any rights as to what happens. The code from a site causes browsers to slow down with all the crap it is trying to do that users don't need or want. This addon takes back that control and forces browsers to do what a user wants and not what the crappy code on the website says to do. I don't know how you can surf the internet without this addon.

love the Popup Blocker (strict) and the ability to choose if a website wants to redirect my browser Now that i have discovered Popup Blocker (strict) I do not know how i surfed the web without it

Super useful for those who are willing to put up with the extra effort. As with everything that improves your security/privacy, there is a time cost.

One star for version 0.4.2 that started to report all popups and new tabs to Web of Trust (WOT) by default, a company that sells user identifiable data to third parties. The usefulness of this feature is dubious, the countdown is poor usability, WOT is not a good measure of a popup being wanted and the privacy leakage is too great.
