Before I installed ( Popupblocker ) I had 2 Ad Blockers one which is Extremely Popular.
.
And MOST of the Time 2 Unwanted New Open Windows would get Through including that FAKE Annoying
( Microsoft has Found a Virus Please Call us )
.
But After Installing ( Popupblocker ) and w/o making ANY adjustments to it:
.
I INTENTIONALLY clicked on 45 Sites / Links I ALWAYS Had a POP UP / Unwanted New Window Problem with.
.
I even Persisted Clicking, and not a Single Pop Up or Unwanted Window Came Through NOT ONE!!
.
I can see The Instant FLASH of some of the Pop Ups / Unwanted Windows TRYING to Come Through but not a Single ONE eve did!!
.
I Noticed sometimes I had to Persist Clicking on a Button to get a Page I wanted but it ALWAYS went through ( mostly after 4-5 Clicks ) but that's a Perfect Price to Pay to avoid the bad Ones!!
.
So Far it FEELS to Good To Be TRUE, but so far it's TRUE!
It Works ( At Least for Me it dose! )

I STRONGLY Recommend Everyone to Test this one!!

    A total fail. It blocks new tabs if you intentionally try to open them (always in "block all" mode, and randomly in "smart" mode). It does not block tabs opened by JavaScript. So this add-on is doing the opposite of what it is supposed to do.

    If i have enabled block on a site and i want to open Popupblocker options it won't open because all new pages are blocked on that site.
    It will also jump to the end at the tabs and that is very annoying. It don't show any page but if it jumps to the last tab is it almost the same as it would be an ad.

    Genial für Streaming Seiten mit nervigen Popups.
    Einfach den Seitennamen in die "Active Window Blocklist" packen(Addons - Popupblocker - Options), schon öffnet sich beim Klick auf den Player nicht ständig Werbung in einem neuen Tab.
    Spart echt Lebenszeit!

    some sites like zippyshare has subdomain www1 to www99 can you make it easier for us to add all of them just by adding *.website.com on the blocklist?

    Useful. But it blocks me from opening a new Private Window when I actually want to.

    command + Shift + P doesn't work anymore after installing this add-on.

    In the latest Version 2.1 you can enable "New Window Allowlist" and then add "about:privatebrowsing" to it. This will prevent the add-on from closing the window.

    Works very well and blocks windows which made some websites unusable.
    However, with some websites I find this extension stops me clicking links which open new windows. I have to disable the blocker manually when I want to open these links.
    Would it be possible to add an option to the right mouse button (context menu) to "Override blocker and open this link"?

    Super. Perfect for People who not likes Annoying Pages.
    Just activate "Block all new Tabs". Then whitelist the Pages that you want open.
    (Option2: Right click and copy the Link you want open, open a new Tab with the Mouse and Paste it there).
