It just shows the article without the rest of the page and just saves to a simple small PDF.

I tried many extensions and this one offer the best result. Keeps the text, so you can search a word or copy/paste from the PDF and lets you clean the page easily before. So good!

Works on Firefox 56 and ready for Firefox 57.

EDIT: good to print the text and also some pictures of a web page, not to keep a perfect copy of a web page in PDF.

Imposible to work with, it removes pieces of the page you're seeing without any criteria and doesn't let you indicate if you want to keep something or not.

На предпросмотре всё замечательно, но при сохранении в pdf запросто может разбить картинку на 2 страницы и оставить огромные промежутки перед и после изображения. Не справляется с формулами.
Из плюсов - красивый предпросмотр и возможность сохранять страницы, на которых необходимо авторизоваться.

Maybe I'm missing something here. The extension has a single button that randomly removes big chunks of web pages. The user has no control over what to remove and what to keep. There is only an option to remove images, but most of the time the extension already removes many images by default, so this part doesn't work right.

The results on most pages are really bad.
I tested this on Google news, Amazon, and other pages I use. This is totally useless.

A suggestion to the author: refer to the Print Edit extensions which do this much better, and offer many editing options.

Apparently doesn't save images as-is or at least compressed. A page I tried was 1.5 MB directly saved and 6.5 MB as a generated PDF.

Sometimes nothing happens when the button is clicked. At least some sort of feedback or error message would be nice.

1) This service uses an external server for processing your often PRIVATE data. Take it as someone reads your financial correspondence, contents of your bank account, when you are "printing" them out into PDF.
And the author keeps it in secret
2)Unlike stated, this plugin does not print the page to PDF untouched. Many formatting and background elements are removed. The page can not serve as an evidence anywhere, when printed using this plugin.

One of the best ones I have used and quick. LOVE IT. The option to delete irrelevant content is a godsend. Thank you!!!!! If you are able to update the coding to allow the end user to perhaps press and hold the CTRL Key and use their mouse to select multiple items to delete would be great for us power users.

I've been looking for something like this, that is fast and easy to use, and highly customizable. The add-on lets you click on a small cross in the top right corner of various elements on the web-page, should you chose to remove them from the final printed (or pdf) version. YOU, as the user, get to decide what you want or don't want in the document.

You can also send the version immediately by email to someone, without all the interim processes such as opening pdf, checking it, naming it, opening your emails, attaching it, etc.

If your work requires things such as frequent exchange of online articles with someone, and you like to keep electronic backups (instead of just weblinks), this saves a lot of time and helps you focus on doing the actual work instead of playing around with pdf and email settings half the time.

However, this add-on occasionally omits small details, such as tables. Shit happens. It's still the best and most reliable tool I have found.

I've been searching for a way to turn web pages into pdf's and it has been a struggle. This is the first application that gave me exactly what I needed! Kudos to a great extension!
