    These sorts of add-ons depend on periodic updates to keep pace with the attacker's changes. Fortunately as of 2025-02 this works great.

    The extension does hide the FB reels and short videos, but it is flawed, in that about 90% of posts I now see are from groups, mainly those selling something, and very few individual posts from real life friends. I prefer to see and skip a couple of pointless reel posts each day rather than a deluge of group posts that are effectively spam.

    I'm pretty sure all the extension does is hide reels and nothing else, try disabling my extension and you'll still see those posts you've mentioned.

    Doesn't seem to work for me, or at least not everytime. It may be due to a conflict with the "Tracking & Ad Removal for Facebook" and/or "Hide Facebook Stories, Reels & Rooms" addons. Cannot say :(

    So far so good, it killed those annoying as hell reels. nothing else has been affected yet that i've noticed. just reels.
