    Updated review. Thank you. 1 quick suggestion. When zooming on X/Y the hit box needs to be really exact, like the cursor exactly on the - . Can the hit box be a little bigger?

    Permission is not related to subscription. This permission is required for adding buttons to YouTube tabs. Previously it was used in manifest v2 too, but in v3 the user has to enable it manually. In all Chorme extensions that add anything to a page it has to have this permission but in chrome It enable automatic, unlike Firefox.

    Yeah, I'm not paying for this crap. Especially not a SUBSCRIPTION for a simple feature that other addons can do, uninstalled, goodbye!

    EDIT: I'll review and say what I like how I like, just like all the other reviews you've gotten today. I expect a basic extension like this to not charge an idiotic MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION, again just as all the other people reviewing this garbage do. If it was just a one time payment you would have gotten a lot less pushback, but after this I wouldn't give you 1 single penny. So again, uninstalled, goodbye! 😊

    New update wants me to PAY MONTLY IN PERPETUITY to use a previously free feature on the same old Firefox extension LOL.

    This new update, putting an already existing feature behind a pay wall, is going to get your add-on completely review bombed. If you were adding new features and putting those behind a pay wall you might get a pass but as it stands this isn't going to be received well, especially when nobody expects to pay for add-ons. Donations would have been a much smarter option. I'll be removing this one and gladly never look back. Good luck.

    Thank you, I understand why everyone is mad. It's free to use for a long time. I respect your decision. At first I wanted it to be just a donation, but the country I live in doesn't accept donations whether I use paypay or stripe.

    It was useful for zooming & shortcuts. But now I'm uninstalling. Main info page doesn't say but it is now subscription. Very bad by the developer to lure people into using and then remove functions.
    Edit: I already found a better and open source replacement lol

    It's not a new permission. It's the same permission from manifest v2, but in v3 it needs the user to enable it themself.
    And I'm not forcing you to use it. There's no need to tell me when it's not what you want.

    update extension from using manifest v2 to v3, which in the future v2 will have to be terminated
    Normally, when installing the extension in v2, it will be required during installation, but in v3 it will be an optional option that needs to be turned on manually. This permission gives the right to inject code to create buttons on the Youtube page.

    it works but i think it would be better if the option to mirror the video was in the menu and wasn't purely left up to a key shortcut.
    edit: you're talking about in preferences, right? i've looked there. i'm not sure what i'm supposed to be seeing

    on the "Zoom / Mirror" button displayed on YouTube Player at the bottom of the menu, there's a Mirror button. You just don't see it. If it's not FullScreen, you have to scroll down.

    Now you don't have to scroll. Just need to update to v5.3.3. I let it all show.
