troch Anomaly, ien jier lynI've seen a lot of discussion about this extension online recently, so I wanted to make a review giving my thoughts on this.
As other reviews have stated, the creator is liable to flagging intersex advocates and people who are anti-transmed as transphobic. There have also been incidents in the past where transphobes have worked together to create false flags.
At its core there is an issue with tools that either label people as good or bad with zero context. You don't know if someone who's transphobic on a tool like Shinigami eyes -or even blocklists for that matter - is on there for harassing trans people, is on there because of an intra-community disagreement, or a blacklist creator or submitter personally decided to put them on there for an unrelated reasons. These types of tools can be used to isolate people from their community and smear names.
I truly do understand why people flock to a tool like Shinigami Eyes. We are a group of people that are burnt out of being in danger and having to deal with harassment and want a way that we can easily know who to avoid. It sounds great in theory, but in practice, these types of issues are always liable to happen whether it's with Shinigami Eyes, a curated blacklist, or the callout of the week.
The best you can really do is curate your online space. Check people's posts yourself before you follow them, quietly block whenever you see something you want to avoid, and don't over rely on face-paced social media.

People that make threats against trans men and transmascs are marked green but anyone who speaks out against anti transmasculinity, exorsexism, or intersexism is marked red. Trans men and transmascs speaking about their experiences and putting a name to that experience isn't a threat to trans women or transfems.
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch spiinniing, 10 oeren lynUsed to be useful. Infiltrated by TERFs, overrun with racism, exorsexism, and lateral transphobia. Cannot speak for other social media sites as I don't use them, but it's useless on tumblr. It used to be if I saw a red name and checked, nearly 100% of the time it was a TERF/radfem or otherwise transphobe. Now, if I see a red name, nearly 100% of the time it's just a trans masculine person or an intersex person. It seems like he/him in bio is enough to get you marked red on this extension now lmfao. Would not recommend, hope an alternative that seeks to protect ALL trans people is created.
- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch awawa, 2 dagen lynDisregard the reviews from transmisogynists who are mad they or their fellow men's rights activists friends got marked red. Men are not oppressed on the basis of being men, never have been, never will be, and if you are a trans man actively de/misgendering yourself to try to cry that you're oppressed for your "female socialization" or whatever the hell, you have fallen for transmisogynistic dogwhistles. Do better. If you're on the fence, it's quite accurate, EVEN ON TUMBLR, and if you disagree with that, you are part of the problem. It's actually LESS accurate on other sites like Bluesky or Twitter because people will get marked green for saying "trans rights" once, but then they'll post dogwhistles and slurs that harm transfeminine people.

- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch gigi, 5 dagen lynthis add-on is actually rlly reliable if you fully comprehend *why* the people who are marked red/green are marked red/green. it's not about whether or not you're "nice" or are "normal," it's about whether or not you're safe for trans people to be around; specifically, *transfeminine* people, as they are the most vulnerable members of the trans community, and anyone who isn't safe for them shouldn't be considered "trans friendly." that's really all there is to it. useful extension!!! although i agree with people who say it would be nice to know why certain people were marked red/green, the context would be useful too

- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 19809155, 17 dagen lynthe 1-star reviews complaining about transmasc and intersex people getting marked red fail to consider WHY they get marked red (hating trans women)
- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 17727821, 18 dagen lyn
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch mystieneko, 20 dagen lynlots of false flags, intersex people and trans men are almost always marked red while transmisandrists are marked green
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch thevdsasff, 20 dagen lynused to use this religiously after it first came out and at first it was genuinely useful. now after discovering i'm intersex i try to go to any community for the topic anywhere and everyone is marked red because our discussions of gender and sex don't 100% align with the mods views (which then gets called transmisogynist, when nobody is saying anything of the sort at all). this includes a disproportionate number of transfems, so the claims that simply being transfem will get you marked green are false. i have, however, seen people get marked within days of making an account somewhere *just because they are posting in intersex spaces*. so do with that information what you will. i personally never plan on using the extension again, i'll vet people myself
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 19803232, 21 dagen lynAbysmal tool if you genuinely care about safety from transphobes. There is a mountain of examples where people who spew intersexist, exorsexist and antitransmasculine hatred 24/7 get to secure their "safe" marking while painting their trans siblings who won't stand for that as the real transphobes.
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch frak, 21 dagen lynThe Wikipedia page for gloves is marked green but only in spanish and asturian, this thing has no moderation whatsoever
It also says a lot that most of the recent 5 stars reviews are "you're just mad you're transmisogynistic and got flagged red LOL!" but never address the racism and the transphobes being flagged green complaints that they're responding to
I've also just noticed that the website got updated since when I first installed this addon and lists "theyfab" as a "community infighting" term when I've only ever heard it being said by TERFs. It's an enbyphobic slur and it's clearly transphobic - Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 17409768, 22 dagen lynThis extension- as many others have already pointed out- is no longer accurate or curated in any shape or form. I've used it for many years now, and I just keep catching false flags, especially on tumblr. Not worth the download in 2026
