This extension has become nearly unusable. If I have to fact-check every single flagged person to make sure the moderators flagged them correctly, what's the point of having this installed? Moderators have become extremely biased and hateful. I will keep this uninstalled and one star until current issues are resolved.

i like the idea of skipping over profiles that promote hate, but i doubt there's any moderation for this? i think if clicking a person's handle in green or red showed you their post that got them that color, it would make things easier. right now it feels like anyone can get either color

For anyone wondering, the current review bombing of Shinigami Eyes is related to a particularly viscious tumblr discourse that has resulted in harrassment campaigns against a number of trans women. I have used this add-on for about 2 months now and have found it to be fine, with one case of a true false flagging. It's not perfect - I would encourage anyone using this application to quickly investigate the reason for a green or red marking - but it is hardly unusable. Generally, it has been pretty accurate. But remember it only tells you how someone generally posts about trans people and issues online, and nothing more.

A year ago, I would have called this the single most essential extension for any trans (or just generally queer) person online. Today, it's a completely useless waste of time which actively promotes harmful bullshit, NBphobic ideas, outright harassment, and, frankly, so much more. Just - come on. You had such a good idea. It was so close to being perfect. What happened?

wth is going on with this extension??? for some reason the most vocal trans-friendly people are being marked as red, while i've seen green names say the most *vile* things about other trans people. and this just keeps happening. i can't trust this to adequately protect me anymore, so i'm absolutely removing this. i'm not sure what in the world is wrong with your moderation process but this is ridiculous

As a trans woman, this tool is a necessity and I will not be uninstalling it, but it has declined in its usefulness over the years. It's incredibly easy to brigade, and moderators who curate it are obviously biased because I have seen even other trans women get flagged as anti-trans for saying things someone disagreed with, who had a big enough following to dogpile her. I see intersex people who only ever talked about intersex issues get flagged red over straight up nothing. It's still somewhat useful as a reference point to investigate, but something rotten is happening and it's so disappointing and disheartening.

Not always flawless, but currently undergoing a review bombing campaign by people who would rather burn down one of the internet's most useful tools for trans safety than accept that a small portion of trans people were saying intensely transphobic things about trans women, but cushioned in progressive language. Framing this as "anti-transmasc" is lumping all transmasc people in with those specific people and disregarding the many, many transmasc people who are flagged green, and I fully believe most people rallying against this extension have been taken for a ride.

Falsely flags intersex, transmasc, and nonbinary people as transphobic, regardless of whether or not they support trans people. Additionally, has flagged openly transphobic people as supportive, when they very clearly aren't.

This extension was made by transphobic hacks and frauds.

The last straw for me was seeing a person on social media who was repeatedly suicide baiting a prominent trans woman. The trans woman had no mark, despite being a vocal supporter of her own community, but the suicide baiter was marked green. Seeing these reviews and the fact that the moderators are doubling down on the issues people have had with SE is... depressing. I don't know the moderators personally, but these actions speak to a certain set of priorities. The mods don't seem to give a shit about transphobia or transmisogyny, only their petty internet squabbles.

was a really good tool for online safety as a transgender person until moderation started considering intersex activists as anti-trans. as an intersex transgender person, it is absolutely vile to lump us in with violent transmisogynists and straight up nazis.

Good concept, but exceptionally poor moderation standards have ruined this add-on. A high majority of "anti-trans" flags are given to users who speak on non-binary and intersex rights. Shame.

to everyone who cares about *all* trans people: remove this extension now. it's marking 100% trans-friendly people as red and inviting harassment, all because they stand up for transmascs, nonbinary people, and intersex people (ESPECIALLY of color). the people behind this extension no longer care about keeping trans people safe from terfs. they'd much rather lump in TRANS PEOPLE with terfs.

Moderators are very transphobic towards transmasc and intersex individuals and promotes the false flagging of trans individuals they don't agree with. Only get this extension if you want to enter an echo chamber. Some of the 5-star reviews even use insults towards transmasc and intersex people and thus speak for the real purpose of this app.

moderators have been proven to be bad actors in regards to trans men, trans mascs, and intersex people who both do and do not consider themselves trans.

moderators have proven time and time again that they believe trans men and trans masc individuals are not adequately trans enough, and that accurately speaking on issues that directly affect them (transmasculine individuals) in particular is somehow equivalent to being transmisogynistic. (100% untrue, and is transphobic as a policy.)

their policies are guided by radical feminist beliefs, putting them more in line with the TERFS they claim to want to flag than it does with other members of the queer community who are being put in danger by the moderators of this addon's personal bigotries.

There's no point in an extension like this if intra community drama and disagreements are going to be treated with the same attitude as actual facists and actively violent hate groups. Since the update that allows for people to be flagged as transphobic for advocating for the whole trans community and for intersex rights, this tool has become completely useless.

Aside from false flagging many legitimate feminists and average non-hateful people, this add-on randomly activated itself again after I had it deactivated for months. Links started suddenly showing up as green on different webpages and in private windows--despite me never allowing it to run in private windows.
