- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch rChaz, 6 jierren lynThis is a nice mitigation after Firefox v77 removed the drop-down history symbol/UI from the address bar. So frustrating & infuriating when Mozilla does this type of update, but at least this developer graciously helped reduce the Mozilla frustration level. It's not quite identical to the lost feature, but there are a lot of nice customization options!
- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch ded-doed, 6 jierren lynVery useful, thank you! I would really like an option to increase the screen real estate that the dropdown menu occupies though, especially in terms of more height, but more width would also be useful to me.

6 jierren lyn pleatst(UPDATED 21 June 2020) I've added a resizer in version 1.2, but unfortunately, Firefox limits this kind of "popup" to 800 pixels wide and 600 pixels tall. The drop-down _should_ automatically uses the full 800x600 if there is enough content and your screen dimensions permit. I've explored using a custom style rule in a userChrome.css file to stretch it further, but no success so far: https://www.reddit.com/r/FirefoxCSS/comments/hbr7xx/any_way_to_enlarge_extension_popup_beyond_800x600/ . - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Hetzermx, 6 jierren lyn

- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Aenfa, 6 jierren lynToo many sites missing. I can't get it so it shows Google UK. It's doesn't show all the sites like in the old Firefox dropdown button. There needs an option for "highlights" and maybe an option to add custom URL.
I am using Firefox's bookmark button for now as that shows "Recent Highlights" including Google UK. The only thing is that it doesn't show the URLs.Antwurd ûntwikkeler
6 jierren lyn pleatstHi Aefna, to show the built-in list now, you can type a space in the address bar. Where does Google UK rank on the built-in list? Unfortunately, if an address was ever deleted from the address bar drop-down, it is hidden from this extension, so that's a possible reason some items on the built-in list are missing. (I filed a bug requesting a fix for that.)
** Google UK **
If you are opening Google UK to run a search, you can change your default search engine to Google UK to skip that step: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/google-uk-search/
** Customizing the List **
If you want to manage the list items or list order, I suggest using the new tab page (about:newtab) Top Sites section to set up your list, and then switching this extension to using the new tab page Top Sites list instead of the pure history list.
To add more tiles to the new tab page, you can go to Options/Preferences > Home, and set up to 4 rows (32 URLs). If you need more rows, go to about:config and edit browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.topSitesRows to the number you want (I've only tested up to 8).
For tips on pinning, dismissing, and rearranging tiles on the new tab page, see: https://support.mozilla.org/kb/customize-new-tab-page
** Highlights **
Accessing recent history or recently added bookmarks would require new permissions and a complete rewrite. If that is what you prefer and the built-in buttons don't cover it, you may want to look for a different add-on. - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Vino, 6 jierren lynСпасибо!!!
6 jierren lyn pleatstIn version 1.1, I added a new option to hide the header (open ▼ / close ▲ buttons appear above the list). I hate the new address bar about firefox75~。
- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 16034776, 6 jierren lynGreat addon, fixes what the latest update broke!
Quick question: would it be possible to have the button open the dropdown menu on mouse-button holding down and open a URL on mouse-button going up? (So that you can basically open it by drag-and-drop)
That was possible with the old URL bar, I think it would improve this addon, too.
Nonetheless, thanks for this!Antwurd ûntwikkeler
6 jierren lyn pleatstThank for your review and this idea. Unfortunately, as far as I know, I can't change how the toolbar button works (i.e., switch it to dropping the panel on "mousedown" instead of "click"). If you come across any others that can do it, I'd be happy to take a look at their code. - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch zunar_j5, 6 jierren lynThank you! Keep up the good work. Not sure why Mozilla keeps tinkering with the address bar and removing this must have feature.
- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch MG, 6 jierren lynGreat, useful, efficient add-on! Thanks for developing it and solving the irritating removal of the drop-down url bar arrow.
