so far, this is the first extension that i have ran in to that does not decrease the audio to a 128kbps mp3 file when grabbing music from soundcloud (: no ads, and so far has worked flawlessly. my only request would be to retain the metadata for the audio bit rate so that it pulls into Serato (it seems to either show as 0 or 1 in there now, even though that is obviously not the case) i can hear the difference, will def be sharing this with my friends

Hi, i didn't even try it out yet, tbh. I just wanted to ask how this add on works. And by that i don't mean how to use it, but how it functions? Where does the audio file come from, where (aparently locally?) and how is it generated? Why is Go+ required for full quality? (I have Go+ so it's not an issue, just wondering) And is it legal? Does the artist gain something from my download? I sure hope so... Thank you in advance! <3 Oh, and i promise to update the amount of stars in my rating after using this add on! - edit/update: I tested it, and it works great so far! <3
Oh, one last question: Will this work with Iceraven or maybe Firefox Nightly for Android or maybe Fennec F-Droid with full developer speciall settings? Again, thank you in advance! - edit/update: Yes, it does work in Iceraven, i did not test the other ones yet :)

was very skeptical, this is the best add on ever. so simple it just adds a download button to the soundcloud UI downloads instantly its great.

This addon simply DESTROYS the quality, 70% of quality is lost, do NOT waste your time with this extension

Минус, качает только в 128 Kbps как и другие сайты с саунда :(

It would be pretty useful if one could choose to not set album title for metadata, as well as only make the artist the uploader of the song (simple metadata), because when normalizing the metadata the extension doesn't always do it well

example:
uploader: sera sidra
song name: angelplus - energy (prod. sera sidra)🕊️ [hosted by @serasidra]

when i downloaded it (normalize metadata and include producers and artists enabled) it included " ) [hosted by" as an artist

apart from that, i'm loving this extension for its quality, functionality and speed

It's fine if there's not an external download link (ToneDen, HypeEdit, etc.), because if there is, the Download button deletes that link. This has caused free downloads to appear borked.

No external websites, neat button in the site.

this plugin is amazing, one of the best without a doubt. I would like the music to be downloaded at 320 kbps without the need to be a GO+ user

I still cannot believe it's so fast and easy to use!
