I do not understand the option "automatically update timezone based on my ip address"
Isnt the whole reason of this addon is to NOT give out real timezone/location? so if im connected directly it will not spoof? but when im connected through a proxy it will update timezone based on the proxy?
You should explain more clearly in the extension description about how it works and the options it provides...

Works as advertised, but lacks option to selectively disable or use specific timezones on certain sites.
Many sites will not work with this enabled including those "protected" by googles already broken recaptcha. On these sites you end up in an endless loop of recaptcha prompts and are unable to login and/or access content.
Add an option to disable or select a timezone on certain sites and it would be a whole lot more useful.
There isnt even an option to disable it from within FF, other than disabling the whole extention in FF options.

Works very well, only negative note is that you have to restart browser if you change IP and timezone.

"Automatic update timezone..." dosn't work. PS: It only works after restarting Firefox but not on change e.g. VPN. Would be nice if it changes dynamically.

I click on sync time zone w IP address and then click save. It doesn't save/ doesn't work.

I was looking for an add-on that spoofed the time, but not necessarily the date and/or time zone. In fact, I wasn't even considering the aspect of a time zone. But this add-on really fits the bill. Thank you!

This works well.

But as the other person stated it does not save your preferred time zone after restarting your Browser " possibly may be because of private browsing option in Firefox".
www.ip-score.com see's your connection as no possibility of spoofing your ip address if the time zones match with your VPN and Spoof Timezone, but if you restart your browser Spoof Timezone puts in a default or random time zone and then Ip-Score sees it as a 20% chance that you are spoofing your Ip address because the timezones do not match, but it still masks your real timezone.

Most do not realize you can have all the spoofing, VPN, Proxy, and safety blockers in the world but if your Browser is leaking your real Timezone, it can narrow down your location to a Country, State, or even City depending on where you live.

This little plugin stops that.

So it is a great little Plugin " thank you Joue Quroi ", it would get 5 stars if it saved the chosen timezone when the browser is restarted.

OT: Still looking for a "Screen Resolution Spoofer" and a replacement for "Random Agent Spoofer" with Quantum.... I hate the new web extension API! Tank you all for info on this...greetz
