If certain widgets are allowed custom css, why not the background settings?
my css works for clean edges, but I couldn't stretch.
Besides my qualms, everything looks like it works pretty nicely. Adding a lot of local images can be difficult to sort through though. - Wurdearring: 2 fan 5troch Angry Fox, 2 moannen lynСовершенно неудобно для работы с закладками. Слабо кастомизируется
- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Willem5, 2 moannen lynMozilla keeps changing the Home/New tab page and search behavior. This add-on helped me get back what I had for many years: a search box in the center that doesn't make my cursor jump to the URL bar. And some Quicklinks for favorites. And unlike the standaard FF Home/New tab page it works exactly the same in Private Windows. Happy with it so far.

2 moannen lyn pleatstHi Etheriel, I'm sorry that you are experiencing performance issue. The normal place to report issues is here: https://github.com/BookCatKid/TablissNG/issues.
To help diagnose the issue, what is your configuration? Are you just using the default settings? - Wurdearring: 2 fan 5troch DRDS, 2 moannen lynextremely high CPU usage
edit: happens when Top-Pages widget is added - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch LaPalona, 2 moannen lynThanks for developing this fork. I deeply like tabliss but I did not want to use an addon that's not maintained anymore. Bugs will occur sooner or later so I moved to tabliss-ng. Now I can use a developed version while still using the sleek and clean layout I can find only in this new-tab addon, especially links and monochrome icons. Thanks a lot again :)

Back when i used the OG tabliss, If i used the 'Upload Image' option, It didn't have that if i just uploaded one image.
Having the button present makes it feel slightly obnoxious.
Sorry if i offend anyone by saying that.Antwurd ûntwikkeler
7 moannen lyn pleatstHi! Developer here 👋
You can hide the control buttons using the custom CSS widget by adding:
.controls {
display: none;
}
I’ll also fix this so that when there’s only a single image, the controls won’t be shown at all.
For future issues or questions, it’s much better to reach out via GitHub rather than leaving a review, that way we can actually help and track the problem properly. Also worth noting: someone specifically requested having controls on media backgrounds there. - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch dajare, 7 moannen lynTerrific to see Tabliss so well maintained. The new features are subtle and welcome; no bloat! :)
- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Lance Esgard, 8 moannen lynFor years I've been using Tabliss and having just discovered the existence of this, which I have now switched to, it is a wonderful development to see how much more functional TablissNG is by comparison.
Really cool.
One bit of constructive criticism is that the custom search engine would be more accessible if it was reworded to add something along the lines that users can try, as a general guide, going to the desired search engine, copying the URL of two different standard searches and replacing the part of the URL that changes between the two with {searchTerms}. - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 13532323, 8 moannen lyn

- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch GravityPopsicle, 9 moannen lynI love this extension, the way to backup and restore settings from the abandoned Tabliss to TablissNG is super easy as well, and the new quality of life features are amazing additions!
