Today my Twitch was just stopping all the time, buffering, driving me nuts because connection seems solid otherwise. I have it a shot and it basically solved all the problems just like that. Before it was buffering at 720p and now I could watch it smoothly at 1080p. I dont know how it is achieved, but it does work. Plus addons UI looks really nice! Fantastic job on that one!

Ridiculous how people are leaving 1-2 star reviews because the app needs an update for a fix. The definition of "choosing beggars". It will be fixed shortly.

Anyway, this extension is amazing. If you leave or have left a bad review because it needs an update, at least remember to come back and change your review when it does get fixed.

App is currently not working, but 99% of the time it does and it works great! people who are voting low stars clearly don't know how to actually submit an issue to the developer.

Very nice extension but twitch probably changed something so that it no longer works at the moment. Hopefully it is possible to fix this.

This add-on is a life saver! i have a 10mbit connection that is not constant in download.
With this addon i can increase the buffer specifying the goodness of the connection and stream never stop.

Awesome add-on. Way more convenient then streamlink and streamlink twitch gui.

Twitch showing splash screens because apparently Jeff Bezos is going broke and really needs the ad revenue from Twitch Affiliates who don't even get a piece of the ad money anyway. Nothing like modding a channel that gets interrupted every ten minutes because twitch wants to have a QQ fest about using ad and tracker blockers.

also confirming to get addon to work again, all you need to do is remove the add on and re-add it.

Very good extension for weak computers and laptops. I have performance issues on default twitch player but with this all works fine.

Works great. Only problem is it doesn't join raids. Also a new development that twitch must have released in the past few days. Some streamer channels don't load with the addon and when you manually start the addon, it says The stream has ended. They are live at the time. Update: It's a new DMCA setting that streamers need to enable to stream Amazon Prime videos. So, I don't expect this to get fixed.

The addon works nicely again! When tuning into a stream with ads, it says "Hiding ads" for 15 seconds. But instead of waiting 15 secs I can press [pause] and then [play] again so the stream starts without ads or long waiting time.

edit: I haven't seen a single ad or "hiding ad" since yesterday, I believe. Maybe they're gone completely now?

After so many years, they still find a way to beat the twitch algorithm and provide us with an add-free experience. Thank you.

How do I use the external player functionality?
I use it to boost the volume. I wonder if the extension can do that aswell.
Also, what about supporting 100% transparency instead of 80% max?
