Glad to see this extension is still being updated, latest editions have been a godsend, normal Twitch is so sluggish on Firefox, and not that much better on any other browsers I use. Thank you for all of your hard work!

Addon fixes most problems the normal twitch player has on firefox (freeze issue)
I have only some minor nitpicks that would be nice if they could be adressed:
-Twitch currently will not recognize me as viewing the stream with this player, so I do not earn any channel points (need to open the stream in normal player with lowest quality+mute in second tab to fix that)
Edit: seems this was fixed in latest version of the addon :) Cheers!
-raids don't work properly (Chat connects to new stream that was raided, but the player doesnt)

Absolutely love this!

Works well but give 3 stars cause 7tv is an integral part of Twitch nowadays and it not working basically means this is mostly irrelevant.

Simply the best! Finally, a lightweight player that doesn't lag or freeze, removes all the unnecessary clutter from the screen, and blocks ads! Convenient features and a built-in native chat as well.

Better than the twitch player. Twitch standard player, if hiding both side panels, always shows channel info below the video, leaving black bars on either side of the video because the website doesn't expand the video height to take advantage of all of the space.

This extension allows the player to be bigger, but it's still a pain not having a popout menu that shows my followed streamers. I have to exit the page and return to twitch to view other streamers and people I follow. A simple toggle similar to the chat would be great.

As of 14th June 2025 it seems to be working again! awesome. I really don`t like trying to use anything else.

Great addon, and it actually skips ads! Great customization and great setup!

It works, but it strips away a lot of the functionality of twitch away.
if you're out of alternative options, really want to continue watching twitch but HATE ads, then grab this extension.

Works very well. However on smaller streams, I'll get an error and I can't send an error report. I'm pretty confident that the creator will fix this issue, but overall very good app.
