but when I try to download video in a private window, the download status will be shown in another non-private window instead of the original window.

This tool is very useful for downloading the majority of videos. Unfortunately it doesn't detect the Twitter videos..at all.

This will get a 4 star but it should be more a 3.5. It's a good app and it works VERY quickly. if you're ever just going for Youtube video it's a 5 star app all the way, but if you're going to download an HTML5 video it will not register that the video is playing and you won't be able to get it. which is why my review is not better.

Hin und wieder kommen viele Vorschläge und man weis nicht genau welches nun der richtige download ist.

would get 5 stars when showing the green download-ready arrow by itself and not only after 2nd click when 1rst click still says "no video found"... and a 6th star when continuing a broken download...

Fills my needs so far, started using this add-on after the one that i had stopped working with the latest FF update and have no reason to complain, does what it says without any drawbacks.

I used to use another YT downloader I think it was called 1-Click. I prefer MP4 360p as it works everywhere and is a good filesize/quality compromise. Video Downloader has a cheap professional program for Windows which I use on the occasion a video doesn't work from Firefox. The add-on stopped working for a while after I downloaded lots of videos so maybe there is a quota. Glad I bought VD professional standard.
