Converts with no warning and adds QR-Code

Used to work great. Now it doesn't. YouTube videos contain no sound. Other sites it can't even download from. And don't get me started on the "companion app" BS.

it used 10 gb ram while having it idle and most likely crashed my computer/softwares because of it. Once I disabled it the ram usage for firefox was back around to 500mb. Had only one tab open.

Asks you to download their soft, and even then it adds unremovable watermark at the top of the video. What a great time-waster it was.

Forces you to pay and buy a "license" after a limit of downloaded videos and it's nothing but paid. Stay away at all times. This is simply a trial app and it's completely paid. What a joke.

The addon now requires additon software which adds a fat QR code int he corner, the addon I guess to add the QR and you cant download any video until its installed. They alos want to charge you 18 Euros for the covertion linences. Kepp look there are addonins that do this for free. Terrible!

Used to be a great add on a decade ago. It's absolute junk now and has trouble downloading and detecting.

I have serious suspicion that this addon causes memory leak and CPU overload at youtube live streams. One of the firefox.exe processes took full CPU core and a couple of GBs of RAM. When I turned off VDH addon, the values went back to normal. This issue can be mistakenly credited to firefox itself, so please, if you have similar symptomps, try to turn off all addons.

Promts me to install another program in order to proceed downloading a video. I reported this to mozilla.

You have to install a separate installer. They put a watermark and you must pay it to remove the watermark.

It's a converter, not a downloader. As such, it's much slower and resource intensive than it needs to be. It also watermarks the video.
