You must download an external app, to convert video. With latest version of this software, all of a sudden the developers are placing a watermark on the video unless you register the app for $28.50 USD. That is an exorbitant price. There are better, free and/or less costly alternatives. Google "alternatives to Video Downloadhelper".

Just another useless extension which don't give you options what to download. For example I want download just video, I don't care about sound, but I can't! This extension won't let me do this! Install our converter! But I don't WANT your converter! I want raw video file without sound!

The extension has worked flawlessly for years until a couple of weeks ago. Web help says that there is a problem wtih VDH and later versions of Firefox. I followed instructions on line. No help.

Lo siento amigo mig, antes era mi preferido, hablo de apenas 6 meses atrás, pero ya no lo prefiero, solo lo uso cuando no tengo más opción, pues uso el propio DOWNLOAD de You Tube que es de donde prefiero bajar mis videos, mas cuando no aparece la opción de poderlo hacer porque me salen 0 bites y no los MB que posee cada video, pues no me queda más remedio que usarlo como alternativa, pues antes podías bajar los videos en mp4, y ahora si no pagas no puedes hacerlo si no es con el convertidor, pues GRACIAS por ser GRATIS! ¡Paguen los que puedan entonces, los pobres optaremos por otras vías o por las DONACIONES de envíos de los amigos!

No descarga nada, te pide instalar aplicaciones de un tercero con terminos desconocidos, es mejor usar otra exitension sin tener que instalar programas desconocidos

Жадность разрабов погубила очередное дополнение. Некогда данный аддон не вызывал нареканий - мог скачать любое видео с любого сайта. Но после очередного обновления лисы то ли в 2016, то ли в 2017 году, приложение тоже обновилось, да так, что теперь (не вдаваясь в технические подробности) после скачивания видео приходится наблюдать qr код поверх изображения, для устранения которого необходимо отстегнуть жадине разрабу приличную сумму. Раз донатов и рекламы проклятому капиталисту оказалось мало - пусть довольствуется данным отзывом, благо интернет большой и существуют бесплатные альтернативы. Желаю уважаемому коллективу разработчиков не подавиться очередным куском хлеба и дожить до момента, когда милые ненавязчивые qr коды будут прилетать на их алчные еблеты, ввиду пользования кислородом, который вырабатывает растеньице, стоящее на моем компьютерном столе.

Trying to get this to work was too confusing. Once I finally did figure it out, it didn't download all of the video, only a tiny bit of it.

This app takes over an hour to download and aggregate a 200mb video, and then it puts a giant square over a third of the frame, if it can even download. Doesn't work on many sites like 123 Movies, where it just lists all the file chunks instead of aggregating them. With streaming videos, it often just stops downloading at like 30%. Useless.

Used to be good. I tried to download a video from Youtube and the addon wanted to download an additional tool - crap

this is the most unnecessarily sensitive ridiculous and temperamental video download app EVER!

sometimes it downloads a video from youtube without issue, but most times on any browser it is one fucked up cluster fuck…

spent about 2 hrs this time fucking with 7.3.1 and got nowhere. .mkv ??? nothing is even in the download.

go click on one of the disappearing links you have and try to ‘save’ it .. but you offer too many version by the time i see one that would work the page vanishes… and other page vanish..

and i get so many file sizes. the screens are tiny (or they won’t or can’t be opened) or whatever.

i then downloaded ‘YTD video downloader and i didn’t have to do shit… bam! the url appeared in the window and with in 10 secs. the mp4 was on my desktop and it was a large screen..

i use chrome, firefox safari all updated to the max and i have a 470/mps wifi… so your app should preform better than it does

do something to make your app more user friendly… it’s so silly really!

It always ask to add a "companion" app, when you install it it ask for money or cover half of the video with a link for a "licencied" copy of the software, is an scam as never tell it will require for a payment before you lost more than 30 Min installing all what the extension ask for it, then at the end you get half of your videos covered with a link to purchase diferent kind of "converters"
