I used this downloader to get dance tuition videos for ballroom dancing. After initial problems it now works very well and the videos were very helpful

Excellent tool, although I would have liked the devs to have kept the ffmpeg option and not have you install their companion app. FFmpeg can handle a lot of formats, if there is some format that ffmpeg cannot handle then a companion app is good idea.

An improvement that could be looked into: The ability to download subtitles that are available with the video.

i have used many YouTube down loaders, this one is easy to use and produces quality files, the water mark is a little annoying but I got over it. thank you for sharing this app.

I have been using this add-on since before I can remember possibly 12 + years and I find it an invaluable tool. Paul has kept it updated and replies if I contact him. I have paid for version and if like me you regularly require to download in Video or Audio or both then I recommend the paid version. Thank you Paul for possibly the most useful; add-on in my tool box.
