The era of being the best video downloader has been ended due to requesting external app, the huge QR Code and requesting money to get rid of it. Too bad.

Garbage, requires you to download and install software to use.

Need an additional add on to download videos, which is not a problem, but the problem is, the nice big QR Code in the lower left hand side. I downloaded a Japanese video to practice listing and reading Japanese and the QR code watermark covers some of the Kanji/Kana.

It is absolutely asinine that they put a QR code watermark on downloaded videos here. Greedy authors are trying to get a payday on something that has been effectively been free on the internet for years.

This used to be good until they went and slapped a huge QR code to the videos you download. Going to start using online downloader/converter tools from now on.

This add-ons is not free, will show a huge barcode on the video unless you pay.
say this on the start instead of wasting my time installing the add-on then installing the companion app to find a giant barcode that cover 30% of the video

Now requires an external executable to be run on your PC to use. It's been flagged as a Trojan. Don't use this extension anymore.

Been using this for years now until today. There is now a huge qr code plastered onto downloaded videos.

Been a nice ride, but now is worthless.

WARNING VIRUS AND QR CODE PAYMENT RANSOM

The downloader does not work on YouTube but says you need the companion app, fair enough so I download it.

It then adds a MASSIVE QR Code which you can only remove by PAYING for a license, this is a breach of Mozilla rules.

So I tested the companion download on VirusTotal plus some other sites.

The result says two sites found malware called W32.AIDetectMalware
VBA32 & TrojanDownloader.Private

So I test elsewhere and get this description for above

Unusable because of the qr code. Disappointed.

This extension has been broken forever. It can't download anything at all.

Place a massive qr code in the corner. ruining any video taken unless given money not worth it also cant dowload audia without giving em money
