There is no reason for this extension to require a separate program to run. Period.

Bro, why do I have to download a different exe to use a FUCKING BROWSER EXTENSION. I tried to install it, didn't work. ARE THERE NO EXTENSIONS THAT JUST ALLOW ME TO DOWNLOAD A YT VIDEO?

It not only asks you to download a separate app for it to work, you need to pay 18 EUR unless you want to have a giant qr code that covers half the screen. Utterly useless

Do not install or support this addon. They now add a QR code to the top left corner of videos that are saved with this extension. That might not sound that bad, but they don't tell you UNTIL AFTER THE VIDEO HAS BEEN DOWNLOADED AND CONVERTED. USE JDOWNLOADER INSTEAD, IT'S FREE AND ISN'T TRYING TO EXTORT MONEY FROM YOU.

with this version it will install an coapp that is based on ffmeg. Will produce an barcode in the downloaded File and will Money to remove it. Earn Money with open source That's not OK. Crippleware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Remove it.

I used to love this add-on, but with the latest updates, they removed the ability to save files to my local cloud drive, even thought it is always mapped to every system on my local network. I can no longer even get to my network drives by browsing to the /media directory. Apparently the development is going downhill or the developers just don't care anymore.

If you intend to use this app on a network, like a lot of people do, BEWARE of the extreme limitations of the latest version of this add-on

this extension requires a separate app to be downloaded to your pc in order to operate. It doesn't do what it says on the box.
The user interface is clunky and unintuitive.

Doesn't work on youtube even though it claims to work.
