Wikiwand is absolute trash now. Nonsense AI tools are pushed nonstop, and ads are inserted in so many places in the page. What a waste of what was once a great tool. Go somewhere else to format Wiki pages.

Started as a fantastic skin/custom CSS for wikipedia. Now turned into some sort of weird corporate product pushing AI summaries and an ungodly amount of ads! Ads on wikipedia??? Have you gone insane?

Does not enhance the user experience of Wikipedia at all. Instead, it changes the look slightly and then bombards you with pop-ups trying to get you to buy their AI service whenever you try to read an article.

Switched to another extension after all these AI features rolled out. Just wanted to change the look of articles, but now I can't even do that because its bundled with the paid AI features. If you're looking for a modern and sleek way to make Wikipedia look nice, either get Dark Reader, which lets you keep the default design but make it dark mode, or Modern for Wikipedia, which makes it look nicer, lets you change between shades from white to black and a light brown, and lastly lets you adjust stuff with the text.

I was not sponsored to say this, by the way, this is just my own opinion. I love the style of Wikiwand, but the AI features being forced on causing other design features to be behind a paywall caused me to list alternatives for people reading this.

You killed what was useful and made it into trash.

Used to be good, now just full of premium pop-ups, AI, and selling user data.

Bring back the Pre-AI version... New version is garbage... Have opted for a different extension

This extension has become unusable. I don't want to sign in to save my formatting settings, it takes 4 clicks to get rid of the stupid popup and then you also have to clear the AI popup. I really don't care if Wikiwand has AI in it or not but stop shoving it down our throats. set it off to the corner of the page and don't open the AI chat/summary until the user requests it.

Used to be a very nice wikipedia skin. But like so many things, it's been turned into a business that adds all kind of things I don't want--especially AI. I'll just go back to regular wikipedia.

I loved Wikiwand for years but the AI stuff is just too much. I don't want AI to dumb down a Wikipedia article for me, I can read just fine thanks! The rest of your features are not worth the headache of popups begging me to use AI so I'll pay for more functionality. Uninstalling!

Were the new AI features worth losing thousands of users? Your job is to pretty up wikipedia, not nagging me every time to login and use AI features. Bye bye.

Used to be lightweight and unobtrusive. Bloated with unnecessary AI features now.

It used to be a really great extension that made Wikipedia much nicer. And then a "genius" came up with the idea of integrating AI - and monetization at every turn. A great reading experience becomes a supermarket advertisement. Horrible. Everything ruined after so many years.

What a great addon it was! One of my essentials. 5/5 for like, years. You can **** off with this AI *** though. Not even gonna install it ever again, seeing if something has changed. You're done. 1/5, never recommending it to my friends, never trying it again. You've had one "job".... Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Also, Wiki has a dark mode now. This is all some of us needed. Thanks for ******* it up.

I used to love the UI improvements that Wikiwand made to wikipedia, but now they have filled their website with an AI chatbot, ads, popups, content locked behind an account, and other useless features. I will no longer be using wikiwand.

It used to be good some time ago. Last update made Wikipedia's Main page to appear broken introducing an AI chatbot and most customization features available before (including black theme) are now locked behind a monthly subscription paywall which promotes other AI features.

This extension used to be good, not anymore. Aint paying a single penny. AI horsesht garbage
