The file downloads but has an audio problem that fades in and out, cuts out intermittently, or disappears completely. I correct this by using VLC Media Player to re-encode the file and repair the broken audio stream. That solves the problem.

Works well enough, I don't know if the redirection to an external site is really necessary. Modded android apps can dowload it directly and if the webpage can grab it, so could the plugin?
