X Vertical Video Blocker automatically detects when X (formerly Twitter) opens its vertically scrollable "Shorts-style" video viewer and switches it back to the normal video player.

Some X clients (especially on mobile) redirect video links to a full-screen, vertically swipeable media viewer (URLs ending in /mediaviewer). This extension rewrites those URLs back to the standard player (/video/1) so you get the normal video experience instead.

- Only runs on x.com
