    It works. Youtube already removed an account menu option to switch to old layout, and https://www.youtube.com/testtube doesn't work for me, so it is nice to have this addon instead

    What did you try, what did you expect to happen, what actually happened?
    What operating system are you using?

    Edit: For those who are curious what the problem was/is, it's a conflict between this extension and https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/policeman/
    If you still want to use this extension and you are currently using the Policeman extension, I would recommend you to check out https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/umatrix/ as an alternative and see if it fits your needs.

    The new YouTube design is absolutely terrible and slow. Now YouTube removed the option to switch back to the old design. This great extension fixed it. Works without problems so far. Thank you very much! :-)

    This is a godsend since Youtube officially removed the ability to switch back to the old layout. This preserved some of the add-ons I really needed to make Youtube more usable as each coming iteration of the site gets worse and worse.

    Version 2.2.0 does not work. Version 2.0.7 work. I only use the old layout.

    Great add-on. I prefer the old layout because almost all youtube add-ons are broken with the new layout.

    Very good but, after clearing history add on must be selected again to the desired layout to preserve. After selection then it works.
