Videos and music are no longer paused, so it's working as expected, but I still see the message on YouTube Music. It would be nice if it could be hidden.

This add-on used to work great, but recently I've noticed that in the short break in the music where youtube adds their 'are you still listening' box, there's now a minute of added instrumental music (complete with chirping birds) which is totally out of context to the music I'm listening to. Obviously, this "music" is the last thing I want to hear.

Is this "music" coming from this add-on?

Right now it doesnt work on Firefox Developer Edition :(

Both of my firefox desktop versions dont have dom.media.mediasession.enabled so i can only add it as a bool, number, or string
What should i do?

not sure why, it didn't work for me.. the "Video paused." pop up moved to the bottom left of the screen. they probably updated it

Works, but only if YouTube is the active tab.

work for short time and don't work anymore

so at the start it bugged and i literally couldn't pause my youtube, yeah nonstop at whatever conditions i guess. it literally said it's paused but played the sound video nonetheless

Generally it works as it should, but Youtube no longer automatically switches to HD. An update is urgently needed here.

It prevents the "Video paused. Continue watching?" pop up from pausing your video but then doesn't let you pause the video yourself unless you refresh the screen. It's pretty annoying.

Since 3 days this message appears "are you still watching?" on Youtube. Please adapt asap your module to avoid this youtube request!!

Did not work IF window is minimize/inactive.
Conflict with media keyboard (MediaPlayPause key). When open YouTube > video, the video played. Then press media play/pause button on keyboard but the pause function did not work.

It seems this plugin is not related but IT IS. When I disabled this plugin and do the same step again, the play AND pause work perfectly fine.

Worked fine for a long time and I already forgot that this annoyance exists.

Recently it broke Media Keys however (both about:config settings TRUE). When not in focus in some burried tab, sometimes with another application in focus, play/pause quickly reverts making the play/pause media button useless. Clicking on the Win10 overlay which then pops up also quickly reverts back to the play/pause state it had before. Works when I'm on the affected youtube tab again and breaks easily when it's a burried tab again. Was looking everywhere on why the media button broke for my win10/firefox recently, but it's fixed with this addon deactivated.

It's was a really great add-on but it needs to be updated for the new YouTube. I doesn't work at all now.

Works wonders on the desktop version but unavailable on the mobile version, otherwise a 5/5 add-on.

Autopauze still happens in fullscreen-mode

It does start the video a split second after the video is stopped by the auto pause.
I would recommend, if possible, having it work on the first pop-up that states "video will pause soon", rather than the second pop-up that actually stops the video. If that were possible the annoying split second pause would be eliminated, rendering the add-on flawless and garnering a pay-pay donation from me.
But this is definitely the best option I've found.
