Very good addon and very lightweight. The only thing I wish it had is the ability to block the "Thanks" button with the dollar sign. That is super distracting. Otherwise, I really love this addon.

Wow, imo your extension is impressive, I did basic version of your extension by myself, but I see your is definitely better. Some minutes ago, while searching for extensions for youtube, I thought, would be nice to add more filters when your search for the video, f.e.: more duration and upload date possibilities, but I actually dunno how to solve it with yt database, it may be complicated. Despite this fact I wish you well. Bye.

I like it a lot! The only reason I didn´t give 5 stars is that now when I know what it is capable of I know it can do even more! I want to be able to remove Shorts from my subscriptions for instance and I guess I want to be able to remove shorts from wherever they may appear :-)

It's pretty useful, but there is a bug where when you turn off the extension by pressing the OFF button, it can then never be turned back on until you reinstall it, so make sure to never use that button and only disable the extension through Firefox extension settings when you want to pause it.

It's causing grey boxes on the recommend page at the moment.

Great plugin otherwise, one of my staples nowdays.

By far the most fully featured extension for making YouTube less distracting/addictive. Taking one star off because it no longer works on mobile YouTube (previously it did a while back but as of June 2022 it still doesn't work on mobile).

It has some useful features like hiding annotations in the end of video but doesn't hide recommended videos.

Minor incompatability issue. The "Hide YouTube Notifications" setting DOES NOT remove notifications from the webpage itself, just the icon to view them. To do it properly, you need to disable them all together, so that when you go to make a bookmark it will not add an arbitrary (#) value prefix before the title.

There's a script that does this, but this extension itself breaks that script. Can you perchance get this working in unision, or change this setting to do it automatically?

Incredibly well made and useful. Only thing missing is that you're not automatically forwarded to subscriptions if the home page recommendations are hidden.

This still preloads the thumbnails on Homepage Feed? No wonder it's still slow or loading upon opening the website. Can preloading of the thumbnails be stopped while hidden? I actually intend to save more internet data by using this. I guess I'll just enable Homepage Feed, it's not like I have no self-control.

It's good but I just have one complaint, when I try to remove "recommended" videos from the sidebar it takes away the WHOLE sidebar. I'm talking about the related videos sidebar on the right, why not just remove the ones that say "recommended for you"? Those are the ones that annoy me, not the ones actually related to the video I'm watching.
