    But can we have the old youtube player design, things don't match and weird to look at.

    (May 2024) I love this add-on, it's basically the only reason I still use YouTube! Without it, YouTube is a dead duck. Unfortunately YouTube have been doing their usual periodic malicious tinkering and the comments section is now forced back to the side-bar, which stinks. I hope that Omnidev will be able to solve the problem and update Redux.

    What a legendary addon. Everything involved.

    All I wish is that there was a way to keep the video player at a fixed ratio (and clickable everywhere, instead of just the video playing back portion).

    Perfect Extension, there needs to be a"Facebook Redux" Add on.

    Yeah it used to be nicely separated in sections like "recommended for you", "popular in your country" or other topics. There is no grouping anymore, just an endless stream of thumbnails (in 6 columns, admittedly). Also the side panel used to be closed/minimised by default. The only thing that changed is that I updated the browser (and add-ons).

    Edit to answer the edit: I haven't seen this sections myself for months. It's pretty much always been just a stream of thumbnails in Polymer for me. Same with the side panel being always open. Maybe you're using some other add-on/userscript that used to provide these features?

    This is a good extension but when i try to change the logo on Firefox 56 it just dosen't work. Why!? Also please add more minor old features, like the like and dislike button.

    This is the best extension for recreate the old gorgeous YouTube design, with a lot of extras and a lot of updates to improve it.

    Excellent add-on. Unfortunately, it doesn't save settings (at least in private windows that is). I'm using FF portable, but I don't think that's the issue. If this gets fixed, it would be excellent, it just resets the settings on browser restart every time when you use private windows by default. I haven't tried regular windows.

    Given how the extension stores settings it's expected behavior that it will clear settings on every private window restart. I may rework it in the future but unfortunately it won't happen soon.

    I specifically added this empty space to match how it looked like in old layout although the issue is that it doesn't scale with window size but yeah, I'll look into fixing it and then adding an option to remove it alongside the option to hide avatars on home page.
