    I have a subscription to ZenMate (that they wouldn't refund after auto-renewal) but I have to leave the add-on disabled because whenever I visit Facebook, Firefox Quantum uses 100% CPU and a lot of RAM.
    Contacted support and they couldn't help at all or suggest data I could provide to help them debug.

    Note: This occurs with all other add-ons disabled! Only ZenMate is enabled.

    Hey there

    Would you be able to share a list of add-ons you currently run with Firefox Quantum. A few users brought up the same issue and then it turns out the cause was actually another add-on they had in common after the FF update which wasn't related to ZenMate.

    I can't install the add-on though my Firefox is up to date(ver. 57.0). I don't understand why I can't install it. Please fix this error.

    When I go to this webpage(https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/user/zenmate/), I only can choose the older version of add-on. But when I try to install the older version, the error 'This version of add-on is not compatible with your Firefox' emerges.

    Could you share the error you get with us? Usually installing the compatible add-on via https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/user/zenmate/ should work without any issues.

    your zenmate is causing problem when opening facebook either when zenmate is on or off, i have to disable the add on and restart browser to make it back to normal
    my CPU usage peaked 100% all the time because of this

    your old Add-on (that have 4 free location) work perfectly fine while this (only have 1 free location which is also sucks) causing CPU hogging problem

    Ogólnie dość słabo nawet w wersji płatnej, do tego jeszcze zmiana in minus w wersji free, czyli tylko Rumunia pozostała do wyboru. No cóż ja rezygnuje. Nie polecam

    Man bekommt "testweise" erst einmal die Premium Variante "untergejubelt" und wird dann genötigt, diese dann kostenpflichtig weiter zu benutzen. Es gibt keinerlei Möglichkeit seinen Account selbsständig zu löschen. Wendet man sich an den Support, wird man mit eMails von "ZenMate-Bots" abgespeist ... allein die Geschäftspraktik ist für mich indiskutabel! Mal sehen, wie lange es dauert, bis mein Account gelöscht wird ...

    Wir bedauern, dass Sie mit unserem Service nicht zufrieden sind. Allerdings haben Sie natürlich die Möglichkeit, nach dem Testzeitraum die kostenlose Version weiter zu benutzen. Natürlich freuen wir uns, wenn Sie Premium-Kunde sind. Denn nur mit der Premium-Variante können wir unseren Service anbieten, ohne auf die Aufzeichnung und Weitergabe von Daten angewiesen zu sein.
    Sollten Sie trotzdem Ihren Account löschen wollen, sollte dieses innerhalb weniger Tage erledigt sein.

    ::UPDATE::

    Upgrading your Firefox browser to Firefox Quantum automatically removes old add-ons that are incompatible with the new version of Firefox. This is not an issue that is caused by ZenMate, but by upgrading your browser.     It creates a problem with Facebook.Make Firefox unresponsive and consume a lot of memory after a minute!

    Tried different proxies etc but even when proxies are disabled it still happens :(

    I am a premium user by the way...

    I had to give up on this addon. The free version keeps getting worse and worse. Now it limits you to only one country, it is slower than before, and it keeps dropping connection until I restart the addon or restart my browser.

    Natürlich haben wir an allen Standorten mehrere redundante Proxys verfügbar. Und sollten wirklich alle ausfallen, wird automatisch auf einen anderen Standort umgeschaltet, so dass der Service immer verfügbar ist.
