Great concept but as others have pointed out, uses way too much resources on page loading even after turning off all features but double-click translation. Often hangs the browser entirely causing Firefox to display warning message about this addon slowing down page loading. Either terribly optimised or does some shady tracking

Хороший переводчик, удобный, с прекрасным интерфейсом.
Но есть один жирный минус - тормоза. Ну очень тормозит работу браузера. Firefox постоянно показывает вверху окна желтое предупреждение, что mate translate завис и предлагает его остановить на странице. Хотя разработчики наврядли его переработают. Если бы так не тормозил, купил бы PRO подписку

Very good translations. But there is no possibility to influence the behaviour of the AddOn. I don't want to see this large bubble everytime I mark a word. I only want to see a translation when I ask for it. This bubble covers too much place of the site when not needed. Not every time I mark a word I want a translation. Mostly I want to copy the word. So for me this addon isn't useful.

Has some problems with twitter. Doble-click translation doesn't work anymore.

J'adore les infobules de traduction par un simple clic droit sur un texte sélectionné. Mais le problème quand on est PRO, c'est de pouvoir se connecter, c'est la croix et la bannière.

Slows down pages terribly on twitter and IMDB (possibly others). You must to fix that.

On double-click or selecting and pressing shortcut extension does not react in 50% of cases.
No translation on hover (hover+shortcut).
The biggest design mistake is showing phonetic transcription for TARGET language, which user already knows, not for SOURCE language.
And on several sites several times it was reported, that extension slows down the browser dramatically.

It disables xml viewer in Firefox.

This new update to Mate is terrible! Add-on completely modified and useless.

The fixed hotkey is not too useful when you have 'Search for text when you start typing' option on.

It show "get start tab" every time when I open firefox. How to close it forever?

Good idea, better than inline translation (that looses formatting) or new page (that looses focus).
Unluckily, it doesn't work on my win7+firefox56

Useless addon. Translates only 150 symbols in pop-up.
