Magpie is the clean, honest alternative to the ad-riddled "downloader" sites. It finds the real video on a page - not the decoy, not the ad - and saves it as a proper MP4, or pulls the audio out as an MP3. Free, on your device, forever

Reddit videos - grabs the separate video and audio streams and merges them into one MP4, right on your device.
Direct media files - mp4, webm, mov, ogg, m4v, mkv and more, saved straight from the page.
Detects video on every site - if there is a video on the page, Magpie's button lights up.
Unlimited. Private. Free.

Premium platforms (video or MP3) TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, Kick, Vimeo, Instagram, X and Facebook session-gate their video so it cannot be grabbed from inside the browser. Magpie hands those to our servers and returns a clean MP4 - or an audio-only MP3 if you prefer. Free includes 3 premium downloads; Pro lifts the cap. The anti-junk promise

No ads.
No bundled software or toolbars.
