Hey everyone,

I know a few of you have been asking about OKX for desktop lately, so I just wanted to give you a quick update. Our team spent some time testing and verifying it to make sure it's legit.

We can confirm that this is the official, original app and it's completely safe to use. We wanted to make sure everything checked out on our end first so you guys don't have to worry about security.

Honestly, aside from being secure, the desktop version is also just really fast and smooth. We haven't noticed any lag at all when navigating or moving things around.

Been using it for a bit now and it's actually super clean and never lags.

Confirmed phishing extension. It harvests email credentials and uses them to compromise linked accounts — banking, shopping, crypto. Took everything from my PayPal and Amazon accounts. Report now, before others suffer!

This extension popped up a fake 'wallet sync' screen asking for my 24-word seed phrase. Like an idiot I entered it. Within 4 minutes my entire Coinbase Wallet balance of $8,900 was gone. DO NOT TRUST THIS!
