What is the reason for the change in the new collection of data? With how the internet is today I chose to disable the extension instead, if it's a final change I won't be using the extension anymore

It is transmitted to update your user presence, so your cosmetics show up in chat. This has always been the case, but the consent screen is part of a Firefox initiative: https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2025/10/23/data-collection-consent-changes-for-new-firefox-extensions/

This extension is amazing, and I hope the devs don't pay too much attention to the hate from the unannounced twitch update <3

bit of a slap in the face for the the main extension to fully break the send message box while advertising a new closed source version lol

Your "Hide Chat Input Box" code is broken AGAIN. I like some of your features but this is stupid.

instead of trying to force people on to a new extension that does the same thing, you could, idk, continue to update this one, cause i can't use the 'recomended' version cause im on waterfox and its not supported on waterfox 140.11.0/6.6.13
