Q: Is my data really 100% local?
A: Yes. Everything is stored in firefox.storage.local on your device. The extension makes zero network requests during normal operation. There are no accounts and no servers holding your data. You can export to JSON anytime for backups.

Q: What happens to my sessions if I uninstall?
A: Uninstalling removes all locally stored data (standard browser behavior). Export your sessions as JSON files before uninstalling if you want to preserve them. Re-importing into a fresh install takes seconds.

Q: How do share links work? Do they send my tabs to a server?
A: No. A Pro feature encodes your session into the URL fragment itself (the part after #). URL fragments are never sent to servers by browsers, so the link works everywhere — including your phone — while remaining completely private.

Q: What's the difference between a folder, a group, and a session?
A: A session is a snapshot of your open tabs at a moment in time. A folder is where sessions live (like "Work" or "Research"). A group is a labeled subset of tabs inside one session (like "Docs" or "Social") that you can restore individually instead of all at once.

Q: Can I use this on Firefox?
A: Yes! ADHD Tab Manager is available for both Firefox and Chrome/Edge. Both versions receive the same features and updates.

Q: Does the AI tagging send my data anywhere?
A: No. Auto-tagging uses local heuristics (domain categories and keyword matching) computed entirely on your device. No API calls, no cloud processing, no data transmission.

Q: How does device sync work? Is my data sent to your servers?
A: Device sync uses Firefox's built-in encrypted storage sync infrastructure. Your compressed session data travels through Google's sync servers (the same ones that sync your bookmarks and passwords), never through ours.
