Apogee is a local-first AI browser assistant. It helps you summarize webpages, PDFs, emails, and online content using open-source language models running entirely on your own machine.

On Firefox, Apogee uses Local Ollama mode: it talks to a small local backend server (apogee-backend) on your machine, which in turn calls your local Ollama instance. Nothing leaves your device.

Requirements:
Requires the Apogee backend running locally (http://127.0.0.1:8000 by default) with Ollama installed and running.
