Privacy policy of the Awe Check browser extension

Awe Check does not collect, store or sell personal data.

What the extension does: when you click its icon, it reads the domain name of the website open in your current tab (for example example.com) and sends only that domain to our API at api.awereads.com to get the latest Awe Check score for that site. The extension does not read the content of pages, does not see forms, passwords or cookies, and does not keep browsing history. Nothing is sent until you click the icon.

What we receive: the domain name and standard technical data of any web request (IP address, browser user agent), which our servers process only to answer the request and to protect the service from abuse.

What stays on your device: the language you choose in the popup (English or Russian), saved in the extension's local storage.
