この拡張機能について
Collections is a sidebar for keeping what you find while you browse, and an AI reader for what you kept.
Drag a link, a selected passage or an image from any page into the sidebar and it lands in the collection you are working on: a trip, a purchase you are comparing, a project you are researching. One click saves the page you are on. Right-click anything and choose "Save to Collections" when dragging is not convenient. Then ask the collection a question, get a summary under every page, or have the pile tidied.
Let AI read what you saved
- Summarize a saved page: one line under the title says what the page is, another says why it belongs in the collection
- Ask a collection a question: the answer is built only from the pages you saved and cites each one, so it works as a research assistant over your own reading
- Digest a collection of ten or more pages: themes, comparisons and the questions still open
- Tidy a collection: cleaner titles, duplicates found, a better name, every change reviewed before it lands
- Group forty open tabs into named collections by what you were doing, an AI tab manager for the end of the day
- Better titles on save, opt-in: two saves called "Dashboard" come back told apart
These need sign-in. They are free for every signed-in account during the preview (until 10 December 2026), then part of Collections Pro, from $4.99 a month. Everything else stays free, and more reading features are on the way.
What you keep
- Links and pages, with their title
- Selected text, kept as a quote with a link back to the source
- Images, with a thumbnail
- A note on any item
How you work with it
- As many collections as you need; switch between them from the sidebar heading, or press Ctrl+K (⌘K on Mac) to jump to any collection or item
- Open a whole collection at once as a named tab group or in a new window, or save every open tab into a collection
- Turn a collection into a checklist for a trip or a shopping list
- Coming from Edge? Import your Edge Collections export, or the database Edge left behind, from Settings
- Reorder items by dragging, or with Move up and Move down
- Copy a collection, or all of them, as Markdown and paste it into your notes app
- Open the sidebar from the toolbar button or with Alt+Shift+C (Option+Shift+C on Mac)
Where your data lives
Everything is stored in your browser profile on this computer. No account is required. If you turn on Sync with Google in Settings, your collections are kept in sync across the browsers where you sign in, and you can delete the synced copy at any time.
Collections replaces what Edge Collections and Pocket used to do for people who simply want a place to put things while they browse. No tags, no feeds. It does one thing, and with AI it reads what you put in it: summaries, answers with citations, digests, tidy titles and grouped tabs.
