Cove Download Manager integrates with Firefox to speed up downloads using aria2's multi-connection download engine. When enabled, downloads are automatically intercepted and sent to Cove, which can split files across multiple connections for faster download speeds.

Features

Automatically captures and sends downloads to Cove
Right-click "Download with Cove" option for links, images, videos, and audio files
Forwards cookies and referrer information for authenticated downloads
Toggle download interception on or off with Alt + Shift + D
Toolbar popup displays connection status
Configurable file type filters, size limits, and domain exclusions

New: in-page video download pill. Hover any HTML5 video and a floating "Download with Cove" button appears in the corner of the player. One click sends the video to Cove with the page's cookies and referrer. Supports direct MP4/WebM sources; on Firefox it also picks up detected HLS (M3U8) streams. Nothing
downloads without an explicit click, and DRM-protected media is never touched.

Requirements

Cove Download Manager desktop application must be installed and running.
