Settings reorganised into four tabs: Langue, Apparence, Pages & livres, Données.

Account: sign in and out from Réglages › Données, wherever the settings open (the extension menu, the side panel, the panel on the page). New « Comptes connectés » (connected accounts): link Google or Apple to your Cymbra account, add a password to sign in by email where Google is not offered (Firefox for Android), or remove a sign-in method.

Colours: choose the highlight and page colours, with presets for e-ink readers. The text size now enlarges the whole interface too.

Books: the reader goes fullscreen, and pages can slide as they turn.

New in 1.4.0:
- Word card: says what a word's form is (plural, past tense, etc.) and lays its translation out by part of speech.
- Stats: taught and estimated words shown per CEFR level.
- Read aloud: where no English voice is installed on the device, you can opt in (off by default) to the browser's online voices; an installed voice always takes over.
- Firefox for Android: the add-on is now offered on Android.
- Fix: the voice-install tooltip.
